From Pankepark Bernau to Zepernick (or that was the original plan) with Berliner Wanderclub

IN PROGRESS.

This walk was organised and led by Alexander Günther. First, a very nice guided tour of Bernau, which is an interesting place to visit. I was reminded of my erstwile plans to spend a couple of days here to get to know it, and not least its surroundings, better. Perhaps in the late summer, early autumn ….

I always forget that walks that should only take between two and three hours, when you walk with others will basically take all day. So by the time that I had thought I would be almost home with plenty of time for other things, we were only about half way, so when the opportunity arose to hop on a train back to Berlin, I grabbed it. I therefore missed the Bernau to Zepernick part.
