Preparing to stay indoors the next couple of days, I went out for a walk around sunrise, along Landwehrkanal in a loop to Kottbusser Brücke and back, so not that far (in fact, it does not even amount to 10.000 steps :-().
I was rewarded with lots of birdsong, but depressed to see how Berlin is turning into a bigger and bigger pig-sty with, obviously, too many pigs in it.
On the other hand, I marvelled at the big swarms of swifts (made some pathetic attempts at photographing them – a technique I have to study) and am happy to see more and more stupid, unsustainable lawns giving way to the real thing.
