Sunflower seed dip/dressing/sauce

And yes, it is a good think I don’t have to make a living as a food stylist/photographer. Yes, I did join a course at some point, during the pandemic I think it was, but as I had lost interest already before the course began, it was not a success.

Blend the following and adjust flavours and texture to your own taste:

  • 150 g sunflower seeds
  • 50 g hemp seeds
  • 2 tblsp black sesame seeds
  • 1/2 liter (500 ml) water (approx, depending how thin or thick you want it
  • 1 dl lemon juice (approx two lemonss
  • 5 large cloves garlic
  • 3 tblsp light miso
  • 2 tblsp date syrup
  • 1 tsp himalaya salt
  • 1 tblsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 2 tsp amla powder (for the indestructible vitamin C – definitely not for the flavour)
  • 2 tblsp nutritional yeast
  • Small handful of dried curry leaves
