Making the best of the gorgeous weather, and before the so-called “developers” start destroying one of Berlin’s best birdwatching places (at least among those near an S-Bahn station.
This is a true paradise, not least for birds, especially migratory birds, since Moorlinse is one of the places where they rest and feed on their journey south.
I don’t know where exactly the construction is going to take place, but in any case close enough for several of Berlin’s ornithotogists to be extremely worried.
I was lucky enough to see several small groups of geese circling in and landing on the lake.
Also, normally, I consider myself lucky if I see ONE Great White Egret. This time I saw no less than SIX! Unfortunately, I only managed to get three of them in the same photo.
I heard a lot of birds on the rest of the walk, but only managed to photograph one, and only partly, but I think it was a Chiffchaff.
