With temperaturs expected to reach about 37C this week, I decided to get some food shopping in early in order to make sure I do not have to go outside later if it become too hot.
I find myself frequenting LPG Mehringdamm more and more often – it is purely ecological and has an amazing choice of fruit and vegetables. It also has a real butcher’s section, an incredible choice of cheeses, as well as the best choice of eco wines in Berlin (I think – I do not buy wine often any more, but when I do, and I want eco wine, that is where I go). And it is only a few hundred meters further away on foot than my closest Alnatura eco supermarket in Alte Jacobstraße.
I make it a habit to swing by the cemeteries at Hallesches Tor just in case there are birds to photograph. Today there were not, except the u sual crows, or they were hidden by leaves. Since the light conditions were so good, I took some other photos on the cemeteries, and also spotted a couple of Kestrels at some of the spires of Heilig-Kreuz-Kirche.
