January 2015: Recipe for hand oil no 1: 2 tblsp almond oil, 2 tblsp avocado oil, 2 tblsp olive oil, 4 drops sandalwood oil, 6 drops vitamin E, 4 drops pathouli oil and 4 drops lemon oil. A little goes a long way – in fact all the way up to the elbows. Stays slightly greasy for while – perhaps best applied just before going to sleep. For daytime it might be best to drop the olive oil.

January 2015: Lavender for heart palpitations and difficulty falling asleep: A couple of drops of lavender essential oil on a tissue placed next to your pillow, or – if you are in a room with the heating turned on – on the radiator, combined with relaxation and deep breathing – makes you doze off in no time.
